Friday Friendship Dinner


Everyone is invited to the Friday Friendship Dinner September 28th at 6:30 PM at the Bread Basket in Newton 219 N. Main.  For a ride contact Julie Magyar 620-960-5495.







Open Door Pregnancy Care Center


The Missions Committee will be collecting items for the Open Door Pregnancy Care Center for the month of September. Baby Items: Diapers, all sizes, Pullups, Wipes, Baby wash, lotion, shampoo, New socks newborn to 24 months, Household items: Laundry soap, dish soap, toiletries, For the Center: bottled water, packaged snack crackers, toilet paper, paper towels, large trash bags 13 & 39 gallon. We will have a place in the foyer for your donated items. Pick up a baby bottle from the Open Door table and fill it with your coins & dollars. The Missions Committee thanks you for your generosity.

Church Pot Luck Dinner


Everyone is invited to the church dinner following the morning worship service on September 23rd.  The Kitchen Committee would like to invite members and friends to bring a covered dish to share. 







Salt Hawk Community Support


Now that school is in session for the students at USD 308 and we want to reach the students through Communities That Care.  A list of needs is on the table in the foyer and for your donations.  You are encouraged to sign up for training to work with the students.  Contact is Julie Magyar







Kitchen Committee Project


The Kitchen Committee has canned pickled beets on the Mission Garden table in the foyer. They are available on a donation basis. The donations will go for future mission trips.








Women's Bible Study


The Women's Bible Study will be meeting Wednesday at 9:30 AM in the church parlor.








Disciples of Wisdom Youth Group


Disciples of Wisdom Youth will be meeting Wednesday at 6:30 PM at the church.  Questions: contact Adam at 316-727-1893
