Lessons from Judges 3

1.  God is ready to deliver us as soon as we come to our senses, and does so without reproach.

2.  God uses all types as long as we are humble.

3.  Be willing.

4.  Be prepared with the Word.

5.  Take advantage of the opportunities He gives you.

6.  Step up into leadership when He calls you.



Wednesday Night Bible Study 7:00 PM 



World Mission Offering


Our gifts through the IM World Mission Offering brings our congregation into partnership in God's mission with IM's global servants and partners world wide.  Each of us has an essential role, and none can be considered insignificant.  the theme is "Let Living WATER flow."  John 4:14.  The offering will be taken in October.



Election of Church Officers 2020


The Election of Church Officers will be October 20th following the morning worship service:  Officers for 2020 are Moderator: Chuck Fann, Church Clerk: Bettye Stauts, Treasurer: Richard Campbell, Financial Secretary: Linda Campbell, Deacons: Earl Weidmen, Jerry Maxfield, Tom Eli, Roger Sills, Dennis Lyon.  



Choir Practice


Wednesday, October 9th at 6:00 PM.  Bring a friend.



Teacher Appreciation


The Christian Education Committee will be honoring the Sunday School and Kid's Country teachers on Sunday, October 13th.



Dorothy Dill Estate Sale


October 10th 4-7pm, 11th Noon-6:00pm, 12th 9:00am -Noon at 3100 Nutmeg Unit B



Women's Bible Study


Women's Bible Study on Wednesdays at 9:30 AM in the Parlor.  A Women of Faith Study "Building Your Strengths."   Contact is Marilyn Minks.



Elsie M. Halpain Memorial Library


The Dorothy Dill Estate has donated books to the Elsie M. Halpain Memorial Library.  There are extra books that will be on a table in the foyer for the taking.  Contact is Sharon Breneman




Getting To Know You Breakfast


Everyone is invited to the Getting To Know You Breakfast, Tuesday, October 8th at 8:00 AM.  Our guest will be Michael Ables, Executive Director or the Reno County Museum.



Salt Hawk Community Support


You are invited to reach out to the students at USD 308 through Communities That Care.  A list of needs is on the table in the foyer and for your donations.  You are encouraged to sign up for training to work with the students. The sticky notes are for writing words of encouragement to the students.  Pick up some today!!  This project will be ongoing through 2019.  Contact is Julie Magyar
