Countryside Baptist Church supports ministries that are actively engaged locally in Hutchinson, Kansas. These include:
Christian Soup Kitchen Ministries
The Christian Soup Kitchen Ministries provides hot meals to those in need in a Christ-centered ministry. Countryside supports the Soup Kitchen with needed non-perishable items.
Open Door Pregnancy Center
Open Door provides Christ-centered counseling and services for women and men experiencing a crisis pregnancy situation as well as post abortive counseling and biblical sex education.
Salvation Army
Countryside regularly supports our local Salvation Army. Salvation army provides shelters, food, and other emergency services for families needing help in a Christ-centered ministry.
Reno County Food Bank/ Church Pantry
The Reno County Food Bank provides food for people on an emergency basis. Countryside Baptist hosts a food drive for the Food bank and we also stock a food pantry for those in our body and those who drop by who are in need of food and basic necessities.
Reno County Jail
Every 6 weeks on Sunday morning, a group of men go to Reno County Jail to lead a Bible study for multiple groups of inmates. This is the only Christian service the inmates have opportunity to participate in throughout the week.
Salthawk Community Supports School District #308
Countryside supports two programs linked to Salthawk community support. The first program provides clothing, school supplies and encouragement for High school students in need.
